Job summary

OTIP is seeking a licensed Insurance Broker in Edmonton to guide members through automobile and property policies with confidence. You will report to the Assistant Manager, Broker Service, assess risk, and ensure each interaction is efficient and positive.

Required RIBO licensing or enrollment, English-French bilingual fluency, and completion of CIP Principles and Practice, Property 1, and Automobile courses. Hybrid/remote options are available.

Qualifications

• A RIBO license is required. Candidates who are not yet RIBO licensed will be enrolled in the RIBO training course and will be required to obtain their license within the first three months of employment.
• Bilingualism in English and French is required for this role.
• The completion of CIP Principles and Practice, Property 1, and Automobile courses is expected.
• Experience in personal lines automobile and property insurance is an asset.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to members on automobile and property policies.
• Assess risk and ensure interactions are smooth, efficient and positive.
• Report to the Assistant Manager, Broker Service and manage policy changes and coverage inquiries.

As a licensed Insurance Broker, you’ll play a critical role in helping members navigate their automobile and property policies with confidence. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Broker Service, you'll provide expert guidance, assess risk, and ensure every interaction is smooth, efficient, and positive.

Salary Range

This position offers a competitive salary within a range from $55,011 to $75,583, along with rewarding bonuses that recognize your dedication.

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday with a schedule from 10 am to 6 pm EST
• Note this position can be offered as hybrid or remote.
