Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor. This position will be based in Ottawa and is a hybrid role that requires working a minimum of three days a week in the office. Full-time remote work may be considered depending on location.

Location

Ottawa, ON - hybrid (minimum 3 days in office)

Responsibilities
  • Review and assess new claims to determine coverage and take appropriate action.
  • Retain and instruct lawyers, claims adjusters, and experts as required.
  • Work with retained professionals to assess legal exposure and strategize on the resolution of claims.
  • Report to and collaborate with colleagues and external clients.
  • Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills in both official languages (English / French).
  • 2 years of work experience in a professional environment within the following areas: insurance claims adjusting / examining, finance, business law, project management, engineering or engineering technology.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to assess issues, develop effective solutions and exercise sound judgment.
