Job summary

A community assistance organization in Alberta is seeking a client support officer for a part-time role (28 hours/week). The responsibilities include managing centre operations, assisting clients with program registrations, and performing administrative duties. Ideal candidates will be proficient in English and Mandarin and have a background in customer service. A pleasant personality and ability to multi-task are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with English and Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Strong team player with a service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the centre.
  • Perform counter duties and answer enquiries.
  • Assist clients with program registration and application for assistance schemes.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including data entry and housekeeping.
  • Promote CDAC programmes and recruit participants.
  • Prepare rooms for centre activities.
  • Follow up on attendance for centre activities.
  • Prepare incident reports.
  • Handle walk-in donations.
  • Cover duties and perform other ad hoc tasks.
