A leading design consulting firm is seeking an experienced Bilingual Associate Designer to manage retail facility design projects in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in the architectural or design sector. Proficiency in both Quebecois French and Canadian English is required. This permanent full-time position involves on-site work with travel requirements for project monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a designer in retail or multi-disciplinary design.
• Knowledge of Canadian and Provincial building code standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national specifications for automotive retail corporate image in English and French.
• Prepare and review design documents during schematic and development phases.
• Render conceptual design ideas and prepare design drawings digitally.
• Support clients' teams during construction phase, monitoring project progress.
