Job summary

Altis Technology in Ontario is seeking a BI Report Developer to design, develop, and optimize reports using Cerner Command Language (CCL) within Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium). The role focuses on turning healthcare data into actionable insights to support patient care and operational efficiency.

You will build data extracts, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with clinical teams and IT to ensure data accuracy and compliance with PHIPA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years healthcare data analysis experience; 2+ years with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) reporting tools (CCL, DA2) and Cerner reporting tools.
• Strong SQL, Python, relational database design, and complex healthcare datasets.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating technical insights clearly.

Location: Kitchener, Ontario (Hybrid, primarily remote with occasional on‑site requirements). Candidates must reside in Ontario.
Language: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Duration: Temporary full-time contract until December 10, 2027 with a possibility of extension
Compensation: $43 $55 per hour

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare data analysis experience, including 2+ years working with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
• Master's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have hands‑on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) reporting tools
• Hands‑on experience with Cerner reporting tools, including CCL, DA2, and SAP BusinessObjects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, relational database design, and complex healthcare datasets.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating technical insights clearly.
• Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate, Tableau, and cloud platforms is considered an asset.
