The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is seeking retired teachers to join its occasional teachers' list for daily substitute assignments when a teacher is absent.

Applicants must be retired from BHNCDSB, hold OCT membership in good standing, and provide a current criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening or complete the annual offence declaration if retired within the last year.

We are currently seeking occasional teachers that have retired from the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board who may be called to fill a daily occasional assignment replacing a teacher that is absent.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

• You are a retired teacher from the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board;
• A member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers; and
• Ability to submit a current Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within 1 year), or complete the Annual Offence Declaration on the BHN Hub (if you have retired within 1 year).

About Us

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board offers faith-based education to 13,000 students from Six Nations of the Grand River, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk Counties, and the City of Brantford. We have 28 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools, a multisite alternative education school, and 3 administrative offices.
