Job summary

Refresco is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to support our Calgary-area manufacturing operations. You will supply production lines with materials, move full goods, pick orders and load/unload trucks, while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

The role requires a valid forklift certification, 3+ years in a fast-moving beverage environment, and experience with SAP. Strong communication and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Shift rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification.
• Approximately 3+ years in a fast moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills, both written.
• Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts and technical awareness.
• Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Formal training in WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs and wear PPE in warehouse/production areas.
• Maintain food quality and safety per SQF standards.
• Operate forklifts and related machinery safely and productively.
• Conduct trailer inspections, load full trailers and unload Port–o-Pets.
• Clean shipping area and surrounding workspaces as required.
• Relieve on production lines for breaks per schedule.
• Report hazardous conditions to management.
• Identify incidents or near misses during shifts.
• Note inventory discrepancies in SAP.
• Assist in efficiency improvements and waste reduction.
