Job summary

Spokes Autism Services Inc. is seeking a part-time on-site Behavioral Therapist to support children with autism in Peel and Halton. You will apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to assess behaviors, design interventions, and track progress toward individualized goals.

The role requires collaboration with families and team members to ensure therapy is cohesive and goal-driven. Travel within the Halton Region may be required as part of client coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Behavior Analysis.
• Background in Psychology and experience working with children.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills for effective communication and collaboration with families and team members
• Ability to develop, implement and document individualized therapeutic programs
• Certification or relevant training in ABA is preferred
• Flexibility, patience, and a passion for supporting children with autism
• Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and car insurance and be open to travelling within the Halton Region and it's surrounding areas.

Role Description

This is a part time, on-site role for a Behavioral Therapist to cover our clients in Peel and Halton. The Behavioral Therapist will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support the development of skills in children with autism. Tasks include conducting behavior assessments, developing intervention strategies, monitoring progress, and collaborating closely with families and other team members to support the child’s individualized goals.
