Job summary

Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools is seeking a qualified professional to support students in grades 7–12 across our schools. The role emphasizes collaboration with a Behavior Consultant, Psychologist, and Educational Assistant to deliver targeted instruction and supports.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Social Work or Psychology (CAP member), experience with students with complex needs, strong leadership, and solid planning and execution skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology with CAP membership required.
• Experience supporting students with diverse and complex needs.
• Ability to lead and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support students in grades 7–12 across multiple schools.
• Collaborate with Behavior Consultant, Psychologist and Educational Assistant.

Job description

Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. We are a team of 600 staff who provide quality teaching and learning experiences for approximately 5400 students.
