A regional education board in Ontario seeks a Before and After School Support employee. The successful candidate will supervise students, promote positive interaction, and support child development. A high school diploma and prior experience with children are required. This role includes ensuring health and safety in a play-based environment. Applicants must provide first aid certification and a current police check.

The Waterloo Region District School Board is currently seeking applications for Before and After School Support (B.A.S.S.) employees. The Board encourages all qualified applicants interested in this opportunity to apply.
B.A.S.S. employees will work alongside a Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE) to support play-based programming for students in junior kindergarten to grade 6 who are registered in WRDSB’s Before and After school program to provide general student supervision.
Applications and supporting documentation stating qualifications and experience, and proof of Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED must be included in your portfolio.
The Successful Candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check including the Vulnerable Sector, which must be received in Human Resources prior to the commencement of employment.
Social Insurance Number (SIN), date of birth, and proof of educational qualifications will be required at the time of an offer of employment.
