A local educational board in Ontario is seeking Before and After School Support employees. This role requires supervising children and fostering positive interactions. Candidates must hold a high school diploma and have prior experience in child supervision. Valid first aid training or willingness to obtain it is also mandatory.

Applications and supporting documentation stating qualifications and experience, and proof of Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED must be included in your portfolio. The Successful Candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check including the Vulnerable Sector, which must be received in Human Resources prior to the commencement of employment. Please note, the Board does not assume any costs associated with the Criminal Reference Check. Social Insurance Number (SIN), date of birth, and proof of educational qualifications will be required at the time of an offer of employment.

Under staff screening and police record checks, employees in licensed child care programs are required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check. Additional requirements include annual declarations and other program-specific records as applicable. A valid first aid and CPR certificate or equivalent training must be maintained. Employees may be required to work on PD days and school breaks when the program operates.
