Job summary

Birchwood Ford is seeking an Undercoating and Spray-In Bedliner Technician to join our team. In this role you will apply spray-in bedliners to new Ford truck inventory, as well as used vehicles and undercoating products sold through our Business Office, always upholding safety and quality standards.

You will prepare surfaces, mask areas, operate spray equipment, inspect finishes, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Experience as an undercoating or spray-in bedliner technician is an asset but not required.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, masking, sanding and prep work.
• Mask and cover areas that should not be coated.
• Operate spray equipment to apply bedliners and undercoating.
• Inspect finished applications for texture, thickness and coverage.
• Remove overspray and clean spray equipment after use.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and monitor inventory.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Ensure vehicles are completed safely and efficiently.
