Job summary

A hospitality organization in Muskoka Lakes Township, Ontario, is looking for an energetic Bartender. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of bartending experience and be dedicated to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting servers, preparing beverages, and maintaining inventory. This is a seasonal role from June 2026 to October 2026, with availability required for various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work into the fall.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to servers in the restaurant and/or patio with table service to guests.
• Assist with set up and tear down of banquet functions.
• Prepare beverages in accordance with provincial liquor laws and resorts standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic indiviuals, who are passionate about working in the food & beverage indisutry! As the Bartender at The Water's Edge, you will be an integral part of the front of house operations. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing a high level of customer service and is able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance to servers in the restaurant and/or patio with table service to guests
• Assist with set up and tear down of banquet functions
• Provide guests with beverage selections, both alcoholic and non alcoholic
• Prepare beverages in accordance with provincial liquor laws and resorts standards
• Maintain inventory of beers, wines and spirits
• Set up and dismantling of bars - both service and public
• Upsell products to guests
• Responsible for personal shift accounting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently
• A self-starter and team player
• Smart Serve certification required
• Extensive knowledge of beers, wines, spirits and specialty drinks
• Able to work in high demand situations
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work into the fall
