Duties
  • Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar, keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary.
  • Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items.
  • Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons.
  • Records sales and makes change.
  • Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Able and willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation, alcohol server class, and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a medical examination.
  • Incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
  • Meet state/local age requirements (21) for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment.
  • Health and immunizations are required.
