Aramark is seeking a Restaurant Bartender in Ottawa to deliver exceptional guest service by preparing and serving beverages while ensuring compliance with alcohol service rules. You will greet guests, take orders, process payments, verify IDs, and maintain bar cleanliness.

The role requires minimum 3+ years bartending in fast-paced settings, Smart Serve Certification, strong beverage knowledge, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hourly wage is $17.95.

Formación

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending principles and recipes and current trends.
• Able to obtain all Aramark and state/local required alcohol service certifications.
• Displays phenomenal hospitality and comprehensive beverage knowledge.
• Demonstrates organizational and multi-tasking skills with accuracy.
• Requires occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
• Enjoys fast-paced work environments with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Takes inventory counts and ensures stock levels.
• Provides excellent guest service and anticipates guests' needs.
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Ensures security of company assets.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• May include providing servers drinks from the service well
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Adheres to cash handling policies
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests' needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets
