Job summary

The Gateway to Your Future at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Kamloops is seeking a part-time bartender. You will craft classic and inventive cocktails, pour beers, and recommend wines while engaging guests and working with a lively team of servers and bar staff.

Two years of bartending experience in high-volume settings and certification such as Serving It Right/Proserve/Smart Serve are required. Must be old enough to serve in Canada (19 in BC, 18 in Alberta).

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending experience in a high-volume food and beverage establishment.
• Serving It Right (BC)/ Proserve (Alberta)/ Smart Serve (Ontario) certificate.
• Must be 19+ in BC or 18+ in Alberta.

What You Bring

• Two years of bartending experience in a high-volume food and beverage establishment.
• Serving It Right (BC)/ Proserve (Alberta) certificate/ Smart Serve (Ontario).
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be 19 years of age or older in British Columbia and 18 years of age or older in Alberta.
• Can assess situations carefully and are sensitive in dealing with people.
