Job summary

Cineplex’s The Rec Room in Barrie is seeking an energetic Bartender to join the team. You will prepare drinks, handle POS transactions, and ensure a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of bartending experience and knowledge of drink recipes, with flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A provincial alcohol certificate is preferred; wage is CAD 17.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of bartending experience.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and mixed drinks.
• Alcohol server certificate or provincially required certification.

Responsibilities

• Take and fill drink orders, garnish and serve drinks.
• Maintain clean work area, restock and wash glasses.
• Monitor inventory and order bar supplies as needed.
• Ensure ID checks and responsible service; refuse service if needed.

What you will do:Hourly Bartender - TRRThe Rec Room’s Bartenders are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. The Bartender prepares alcoholic drinks and pours wine and beer for patrons of restaurants, bars, cocktail lounges, and other places where drinks are served. The Bartender is friendly and helpful, and is an expert with standard drink recipes while being flexible to follow guests’ preferences or recipes.
