Altea West Edmonton in Edmonton, AB invites applications for a Barre instructor. Barre at Altea combines low-impact, high-burn classes with isometric holds and micro-movements, and the role rewards precision, energy, and warmth.

You will deliver precise Barre classes, cue alignment, use props, build a community, and come prepared with a current Barre certification. Criminal background check is required prior to commencement.

Qualifications

• Current Barre certification required (e.g., Pure Barre, The Bar Method, Barre Certification Institute, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Barre classes in a studio or premium fitness environment
• Strong understanding of isometric training, alignment cueing, and prop-based resistance in a group setting
• Ballet, dance, or Pilates background is a strong asset
• Reliable, punctual, and maintains high preparation standards
• Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise, high-burn Barre classes that challenge participants through sustained isometric holds and controlled micro-movements
• Coach the detail through micro-adjustments, cueing alignment, engagement, and positioning
• Use the barre and props with purpose to meet participants at every level
• Build a community where members feel capable and return for more
• Show up prepared with a class plan and organized props, on the floor before participants arrive.
