Job summary

Starbucks is hiring a barista in Calgary to welcome customers and craft beverages in a fast-paced store. You’ll contribute to creating the Starbucks Experience with friendly service, accuracy, and teamwork.

No previous experience required, but you’ll learn recipes and safety standards while assisting customers and maintaining a clean workspace. Flexible hours and benefits are offered to eligible partners.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverages and food, cash handling and store safety.
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes.
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
