Bell Canada in Mississauga is seeking a Barista to prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks and related items. You will welcome customers, explain the menu and tailor orders to their preferences.

You will follow recipes, operate and maintain equipment, keep the store clean, and contribute to a safe, efficient coffee bar. Prior barista experience is a plus, and a background check will be required before onboarding.

Qualificações

• Previous work as a Barista is an asset.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.

• Prepare coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for espresso, latte and cappuccino.
• Sell coffee and coffee grinding/brewing equipment by explaining differences in beans and machines; demonstrating operation.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; calling for repairs.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following sanitation regulations.
• Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; maintaining and improving the store and coffee bar.

• Sell coffee and coffee grinding/brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
• Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar

About you:
