Job summary

Aramark in Canada is hiring full-time Baristas to join a fast-paced, social team. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food prep, handle orders and payments, and deliver memorable customer experiences.

The role requires prior customer service and cash handling experience, barista background preferred, and the ability to work independently while following brand standards and safety guidelines. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Past customer service experience preferred.

• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Balance cash drawer, fill cashier slips and make deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar or store; clean and sanitize.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers and condiments; restock as needed.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
• Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
• Adheres to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Other duties as assigned by management

The pay range for this position is $19.34 - $19.62.
