A barber/hairstylist position in a barbershop or hairstyling salon in Alberta offers $25.00 to $28.00 hourly and is permanent full time. The role is based in Banff with standard 40-hour work weeks.

Responsibilities include analyzing hair and scalp, booking appointments, cutting and styling, shampooing, beard trimming, and providing related services. Supervisory duties for other stylists and trainees are included.

Formación

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate is required.
• Experience in barbering or hairstyling preferred.
• English proficiency for client communication.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze hair and scalp condition and book appointments.
• Cut, trim, and style hair according to client requests.
• Shampoo customers and perform beard trimming.
• Provide hair treatments such as waving, straightening or tinting.
• Supervise other stylists and apprentices in training.
