Job summary

Canad Inns in Brandon, MB is seeking a Barback to join our dynamic team. You will support bartenders by keeping the bar area well-stocked and organized, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

You will help maintain supplies, assist with glassware, garnishes, water and ice, and ensure fast, friendly service in a busy hotel and casino setting. If you have prior hospitality experience and a positive, team-oriented attitude, we welcome you to apply and grow with Canad Inns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of food handling and safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.

• Ensures bartenders and servers have sufficient garnishes and miscellaneous items to perform their job duties.
• Replenishes water and ice bins.
• Maintain adequate supply of beer, coolers and specialty drinks in each cooler.
• Wash and re-shelve glassware.
• Remove all glassware from tables.
• Ensure all empties are collected and returned to the appropriate area.
• Wipe down the entire bar area, including coolers, bar, tip rails and cabinets.
• Perform other duties as required.
