Job summary

The Tavern Collective in Winnipeg is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to produce all menu items efficiently and consistently, while supporting senior leadership and managing budgets.

You will help cultivate a positive team culture, train staff, and uphold high standards for fresh, quality ingredients, balancing costs daily. If you bring energy, inclusion, and a passion for hospitality, this is your place to grow with a rapidly expanding Canadian brand.

Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience in a full-service restaurant or bar with strong culinary production skills.
  • Desire to develop and motivate the people around you to always be their best.
  • Committed to continuous improvement.

  • Committed to being inclusive and embracing diversity.
  • Previous culinary leadership experience in Banquets considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Produce all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications of the company.
  • Actively lead shifts, in support of senior leadership team members while helping to manage budgetary goals.
  • Contribute to a positive team morale through contests and supporting team members on shift.
  • Assist in ensuring the use of fresh, top-quality ingredients while balancing costs daily.
