Job summary

Noir Kitchen is seeking a permanent, full-time Restaurant + Banquet Manager to supervise staff across three on-site venues and lead teams to success through positive coaching and leadership.

The role requires at least three years of supervising experience in F&B or tourism, strong cash handling, inventory control, and scheduling skills, plus a Serving It Right certification and English proficiency. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Restaurant + Banquet Manager
We are looking for a permanent, full-time Restaurant + Banquet Manager to join our team. This role will supervise staff in three venues on site and will help to lead the teams to success through positive and consistent coaching and leadership.
Duties

  • Supervise restaurant and/or banquet staff to deliver outstanding service, ensuring all guests’ needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Coordinate event or large group setups, including table arrangements, food presentation, and timely service delivery.
  • Direct as well as participate in the training and coaching of new and existing team members.
  • Act as a second level for follow up on guest concerns and ensure appropriate internal follow up, including implementing training resolutions and effective performance management where applicable.
  • Support the maintenance of the Responsible Beverage Service Program, including ensuring compliance with procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure that staff understand and follow dress code guidelines to create a professional impression on guests.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program.
  • Assist with our continuous effort to ensure smooth and efficient work and service flows.
  • Promote team spirit between staff in different departments, enhancing our positive work culture.
  • Participate as needed in weekly meetings and work with regional teams to help create and set organizational best practices.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

Skills

  • At least three years of experience supervising and leading staff in the Food and Beverage or Tourism industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading a diverse and complicated workforce.
  • Experience in auditing cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering.
  • Experience with staff scheduling.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in an English working environment.
  • Able to withstand extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions.
  • Able to operate in high pressure environment and remain calm and focused in urgent situations.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime from time to time.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, aligning with dress code guidelines.
  • Has formal education in a related field.
  • Holds a valid Serving it Right certification.
