Job summary

RBC in Canada seeks a full-time Banking Consultant to help clients meet their financial needs. You will engage branch and community clients, uncover banking needs, provide guidance, and leverage technology to deliver an exceptional experience that drives sales and retention.

You will respond to client inquiries across a full range of financial transactions, listen actively to understand individual needs, and build lasting relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Mutual Funds accreditation, required.
  • Passion for putting clients first in a target-driven sales environment.
  • Problem-solving and people skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and a hunger for success.
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Must-have
  • Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, as well as success in a hands‑on, target‑driven sales environment
  • Problem‑solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
Nice-to-have
  • Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry
