Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a skilled Baker to prepare breads, pastries and desserts following established recipes and production sheets. You will contribute to daily planning, maintain product quality and ensure proper serving temperatures.

The role requires a professional baking certificate or equivalent experience, reliability with flexible hours, and strong teamwork and communication to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining sanitation and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production sheets.
• Assist with production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Handle food items safely and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris.
• Show ability to keep up with peak production calmly and efficiently.
• Ensure all food is presented and served per standards.
