Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Burnaby is seeking a flexible Bakery Team Member to support receiving, prepping, stocking, and displaying products while delivering friendly customer service. You will help maintain WFM standards and participate in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, assisting with sampling, and supporting inventory and safety procedures. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers, team members and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays and keeps cases and shelves stocked.
• Assists with sampling program and inventory checks.
• Provides courteous customer service and answers phones promptly.
• Supports proper pricing, shelf signage and product rotation.
• Keeps back stock organized and clean; reports safety hazards.
