Job summary

• Read production schedules and recipes, measure and mix ingredients, mold and shape dough and process through ovens
• Work with team to keep the bakery clean
• Report equipment issues to supervisor or manager in a timely manner
• Follow all safety procedures applicable to daily operations
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and colleagues
• Ensure security of company and client assets

• Safely use a variety of utensils and equipment including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers


• Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, mold and shaping dough and processing everything through the ovens


• You’ll also work along with your team to keep the bakery clean


• Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager in a timely manner


• Understands and follows all safety procedures that apply to daily operations


• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.


• Ensures security of company and client assets

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks


• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg


• Frequent turning and reaching


• Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping


• Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $20.55 - $20.55.
