Job summary

Wonderbrands, a long-standing Canadian bakery, is hiring at its Mississauga location. Competitive hourly pay is offered and employees enjoy health and dental benefits, a pension plan, bonuses and a discount program. Shift times may vary and night/weekend overtime may be required.

Responsibilities include packing, operating and assisting with production lines, inspecting for quality, and helping machine operators while maintaining safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail to identify defects and maintain quality.
• Willingness to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime if required.
• Basic proficiency in reading and understanding work instructions, labels, and safety protocols.
• Understanding of workplace safety and food safety regulations.
• Previous quality experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into containers or boxes, label packages, and prepare them for shipping.
• Support the production process by operating or assisting with machinery and assembly lines.
• Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities.
• Provide support to machine operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing PPE.
• Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use.
• Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and have an understanding and respect for GMPs.
