Job summary

Lakefield Foodland in Ontario is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the daily operations of our Bakery Department. You’ll oversee merchandising, product quality, inventory, and department performance while ensuring customers enjoy fresh, high-quality products and friendly, professional service.

You’ll coach and develop your team, enforce OH&S and food safety standards, manage budgets and scheduling, and drive sales through strong product knowledge and engaging customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Retail store experience in department operations.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to analyze budgets and financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop bakery team with coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage direct reports including training, orientation, and succession planning.
• Ensure OH&S, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
