Join our Team at Eckville Food Store! Looking for a role where exceptional leadership and operational efficiency are key? Thrive in fast-paced environments? Central Alberta Co-op has the ideal opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Bakery/Deli Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Food Store in Eckville.

Position: Bakery/Deli Supervisor

Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends—mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities
  • Be a productive team member while promoting Co-op memberships and benefits
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures
  • Assist store management in the organization, direction, and coordination of the department to achieve budgeted goals
  • Order, receive, and display merchandise
  • Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner and assist with the management/leadership of team members within the department
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist in reducing theft and loss
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Previous retail experience is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
