Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited’s Real Canadian Superstore in Nanaimo is hiring Store Team Members to deliver friendly, attentive service and keep shelves stocked. Training is provided, no prior experience is required, and you’ll learn as you grow with a unionized retailer.

You’ll work with a team to meet customer needs, set up promotions, maintain displays, and ensure health and safety standards. Flexibility includes days, evenings, weekends; you may lift up to 50lbs throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs.
• Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards.
• Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering.
• Setup company-directed promotions and programs.
• Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards.
