Qualifications

• Preference given to prior cake decorating experience.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.
• Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset; however, training is available.
• Applicants must be over 14 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Package and label bakery products for sale.
• Perform tasks such as slicing bread and frying donuts.
• Assist in production as directed by bakers.
• Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed.

Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Deer Park Food Store in Red Deer presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a part-time Bakery Clerk to join our dynamic team.

Position

Bakery Clerk

Part-\tTime

24 - 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability

Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Package and label bakery products for sale
• Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens
• Assist in production as directed by bakers
• Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed
• Assist in setting up products for the following day
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

• Preference given to prior cake decorating experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset; however, training is available
