Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Calgary, AB is hiring a Bakery Clerk (Baker) at our Heritage location. You will greet customers, stock and present bakery items, ensure freshness, and help maintain a clean and safe department.

Open availability is preferred. Shifts can start as early as 6:00am. A passion for great food and customer service, plus retail experience, will help you thrive on our World Class Team. We offer Friday pay, team discounts, benefits, training and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work early shifts and weekends.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• Attention to freshness and basic food safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and share product knowledge.
• Keep bakery stocked and presented.
• Ensure only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide a positive experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary work area.
• Operate bakery equipment, including knives.

• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
