Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Sherwood Park, AB is hiring a Bakery Clerk at our Wye Road location. Open availability is preferred and shifts can start as early as 5:00am. The role focuses on providing outstanding customer service, sharing product knowledge, keeping the bakery stocked and presenting fresh items, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

You will greet customers, answer questions, handle a variety of bakery equipment, and help the team go the extra mile to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Passion for great food and delivering friendly service.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Integrity and enthusiasm for teamwork.
• Retail customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and share product knowledge.
• Keep the bakery well stocked and visually appealing with fresh items.
• Greet customers and handle inquiries to create a positive experience.
• Assist with cleaning equipment and maintaining a safe, sanitary work area.

We are hiring for a Bakery Clerk at our Wye Road location in Sherwood Park, AB.

Open availability is preferred.

Shift times can start as early as 5:00am.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.

• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
