Job description

Job duties :

  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the bakery and café.
  • Manage staff and delegate duties.
  • Explore new distribution channels and develop sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research and social media campaigns.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Manage personnel issues such as hiring, promotions, development, retention, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers as necessary to procure merchandise for resale.
  • Manage issues with suppliers such as payments.
  • Plan budgets and monitor expenditures and revenues.
  • Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.

Terms of employment : Permanent and full time.

The language of work : English.

Wage : $43.27 per hour.

Benefits : Accident insurance.

Skills requirements

Required education :

  • A university degree or college diploma in business administration or another relevant field.

Required work experience and skills :

  • 2 to 4 years of management experience.
  • Knowledge of :

Baking.

  • Supply chain issues.
  • Significant experience with :

Inventory control.

  • Dealing with suppliers.
  • A proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative.
  • Takes initiative.
