Sobeys Inc. in Vancouver, BC is seeking a part-time Bakery Associate to join our Safeway bakery team. You will greet customers, provide friendly service, and help with daily production of fresh baked goods.

Experience is an asset; must be able to work evenings and weekends. You will operate bakery equipment and maintain clean, well-stocked displays while delivering high-quality products and service to our customers.

You are an essential part of the Bakery team, working with our experienced Bakery staff to provide the highest quality products. Physical Requirements (Seldom: Not Daily, Rare: 0-5% of shift, Occasional: 6-33% of shift, Frequent: 34-66% of shift, Constant: 66-100% of shift)

• Frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds
• Frequent hand coordination, bending pushing, pulling and twisting
• Occasional lifting of between 20-50 lbs including waist level and low level lifts
• Constant standing, walking, gripping, reaching

The salary range for this position is $18.25- $21.00. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
