Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Baker/Cook to join our dynamic team. This position is a full time role.

You will be offered a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.

You will be responsible to:

• Bake muffins, donuts, pastries & bagels
• Support the Chef with prepping Simply‑to‑go products such as sandwiches, parfaits & salads
• Serve customers during breakfast & lunch service
• Support the Chef with getting catering orders ready

Qualifications

You are an experienced cook who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards. You will be required to prepare baked goods on a daily basis, manage production, food inventory, standardize recipes and manage a team. You will be required to be creative in the preparation of desserts, to constantly seek out new recipes for desserts and baked goods in order to ensure an outstanding dining experience for guests.

You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Strong time management skills. You are able to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. A DEP in cooking is an asset.

PREREQUISITE: All candidates must hold a MAPAQ Food Handler certificate.
