COBS Bread Driftwood Mall in Courtenay, BC is hiring an experienced Baker to produce fresh breads and baked goods daily. This hands-on role suits someone who understands dough development, fermentation, proofing, timing, and consistency.

You’ll mix, scale, shape, proof, and bake a variety of breads, maintain quality standards, manage production schedules, handle ingredients, and uphold food safety and cleanliness while working closely with a friendly bakery team.

Qualifikationen

• Previous baking experience in a commercial bakery, grocery bakery, restaurant, hotel, or food production environment
• Strong understanding of baking processes and food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the team
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs)
