AgeCare Mount Royal in Calgary, AB is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide goal-directed, patient-focused nursing care within a supportive interdisciplinary team. The role reports to the Director of Care, emphasizing accurate assessments, care plans, medication administration, and coordination with physicians and service providers to support residents' dignity and well-being.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN in Alberta.
• Experience in senior/long-term care preferred.
• Gerontology, rehabilitation or complex/community care background is an asset.
• Strong clinical knowledge and care coordination.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and time management.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Proficiency with EMR/electronic documentation and MS Office.
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with care team using a person-centered approach.

• Implement and evaluate care plans and adjust as required.
• Assist with transitions including move-ins, discharges and transfers.
