Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Canada is looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to modernize their Virtual Desktop Infrastructure by transitioning to an Azure Local architecture. The role involves designing and supporting Azure Stack deployments, migration planning from Citrix environments, and ensuring integration with Azure cloud services. Ideal candidates have over 5 years of IT experience, especially with Azure and VDI solutions, and possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in IT Infrastructure or Cloud Engineering.
• 3+ years experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience implementing or supporting VDI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and support deployment of Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI infrastructure.
• Assist with migration planning from Citrix VDI to Azure Local VDI.
• Evaluate current infrastructure and identify risks.
• Configure and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture.
• Provide recommendations on VDI performance.
