Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, particularly Virtual Machines.
• Strong experience with scripting technologies such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and Terraform.
• Good understanding of CI/CD methodology.
• Very good understanding of network aspects (gateways, private endpoints, etc.).
• Knowledge of Ansible/Packer/Chocolatey.

Responsibilities

Job description

As an Azure Cloud Developer, you will be part of a global core team based in Montreal and Paris, with multiple responsibilities related to the public cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build automation to provision new Azure services while complying with security constraints;
• Maintain existing Azure services, update them to new versions, and manage the relationship with Microsoft for production incidents;
• Develop tools to provide additional services around cloud computing, such as cost tracking, resilience checks, etc.;
• Create code samples/templates to accelerate the adoption of the public cloud infrastructure;
• Maintain the CI/CD pipeline to build and test deliverables;
• Train new Azure platform users and advise them on the right architecture/solution.

It’s a wide role with covering many topics, and great opportunity to learn new things, leveraging on the specific expertise of each member of the team.

Skills and qualifications

• Good knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, particularly Virtual Machines;

Excellent communication skills in French and English. The ability to communicate in English is essential as you will be interacting with other team members located outside Quebec.
