Job summary

E.G. Gray Transportation is seeking an AZ-licensed owner-operator for US cross-border runs. This full-time role requires a FAST CARD and drives from multiple yards across Canada to the US, handling LTL and TL with mostly no-touch freight.

Drivers enjoy bi-directional routes with posted pay terms aligned to cross-border trucking. You will work with established lanes and receive direct deposit-based settlements.

Qualifications

• AZ/T/T driving experience (1 year) required.
• MUST have FAST CARD to operate cross-border.
• Ability to handle cross-border shipments and tolls.
• WF safety and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate US-Canada cross-border loads with owner operator model.
• Coordinate with yards in Oshawa, Etobicoke, London, Peterborough or Trenton.
• Ensure on-time delivery with no-touch freight where possible.
• Comply with HVUT and customs regulations when applicable.

E.G. Gray Transportation is family owned and operated servicing Canada and the US for over 30 years currently recruiting Owner Operators for our US division. Work from any of our yards; Oshawa, Etobicoke, London, Peterborough or Trenton.

Steady lanes include but not limited to;FL, WI, MN, TX, PA, NJ, VI, MI, MO, VA, NC, AL, GA, KS & MA etc. both LTL and TL with the fast majority being LTL, mostly no touch freight.

*PAID customs delays after 1 hour

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Insurance
• Satellite installation and all satellite communication fees
• Annual inspections
• Bi-Weekly Settlement with direct deposit
• Fleet discounts available for tires and other parts

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) and Customs Decal/Transponder
• WSIB or equivalent coverage
• Out of province coverage
