Job summary

Contrans is seeking AZ owner operators to join our Cardinal team. We provide tools, freight, and support for success, including a $2,500 sign-on bonus and competitive pay with bi-weekly direct deposits.

Qualified drivers have 3+ years of AZ experience, a passport/FAST for U.S. travel, and are willing to work open board. Safe operation and weekend availability are required, with PPE provided and access to valuable company programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable Class 1 / AZ experience.
• Passport or FAST Card for U.S. travel.
• Willing to work open board (not dedicated lanes).
• Comfortable sleeping in the truck up to 3 nights per week and work 2 weekends per month.
• Ability to climb ladders, handle hoses, and work safely at heights (PPE provided).
• Knowledge of multi-axle trailers & Hours of Service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ equipment on various lanes and routes.
• Maintain safety, PPE and secure loads.
• Adhere to Hours of Service regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with dispatch for open board opportunities.
• Provide reliable, year-round service to the Cardinal team.
