Job summary

Sysco Canada is seeking a Driver to deliver customer orders along established routes in Ontario. You will maintain a daily trip log and adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

The role requires an AZ license, a clean driving record, and English fluency. You will work in a safety-conscious, team-driven environment with physical demands including lifting up to 40 kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders per established routes and schedules.
• Maintain a daily trip log.
• Adhere to all Preferred Work Methods and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Understand, uphold, and comply with Sysco’s policies and procedures (health and safety, returns, etc.).
• Comply with Sysco’s Food Safety Program and related SOPs for the role.
• Perform duties safely as instructed in safety training.
• Attend shift, departmental, company and safety meetings/groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation manager/Supervisors.

• Understanding, upholding, and complying with Sysco’s policies and procedures (e.g., health and safety, returns, etc.)
• Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures comprising Sysco’s Food Safety Program, specific for the assigned role
• Carrying out duties in a safe manner as instructed through safety training
• Participating in various meetings/groups (shift, departmental, company and safety)
• Performing other duties as assigned by Transportation manager and/or Supervisors.
