Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a full-time role based in Scarborough, Ontario. The candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

You will design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, participate in POCs for AWS bedrock and related capabilities, and contribute to ongoing reliability and optimization across cloud platforms.

• Ability to design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service evaluations and technical feasibility assessments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot platform and application issues using AWS monitoring tools and logs.
• Investigate service failures, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies to improve reliability and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct service evaluations and technical feasibility assessments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot platform and application issues using Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Investigate service failures, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies to improve platform reliability and operational excellence.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience working with and extending enterprise CDK frameworks, including understanding and leveraging client specific CDK wrappers built on top of native AWS CDK constructs.
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code principles.

We are offering an annual compensation between $115,000-$122,000. Applications will be accepted until September, 14th 2026.
