Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Toronto, ON seeks an experienced AWS-focused architect to design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will drive disaster recovery, security governance, and automation across Windows and Linux environments, with emphasis on cost optimization and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities include building and managing cloud networking, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code, using Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitLab.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on AWS networking, DR, security controls, and IAM governance.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Linux and Windows system administration knowledge for cloud workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design & Support: Architect and amend cloud infrastructure focusing on availability and optimization.
• Core Networking: Administer AWS networking including VPCs, TGW, VPNs, PrivateLink, and NACLs.
• Traffic Management: Configure ALB/NLB load balancers and related traffic rules.
• IP Management: Manage VPC subnets and CIDR blocks.
• DR & BC: Design and implement robust disaster recovery using AWS services.
• Replication & Backup: Leverage AWS tools for cross-region replication and backup.
• Security, Governance & Identity: Manage IAM and landing zones with compliance.
• DevOps, Automation & CI/CD: Implement IaC and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and automation.
• System Administration: OS support and vulnerability management for Windows/Linux.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze and report on cloud spend and utilization.

• Design & Support: Architect and amend cloud infrastructure with a focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and workload optimization.

• 2. Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity
• DR Strategy: Design and implement robust DR solutions utilizing AWS native services to meet strict business RTO and RPO objectives.
• Replication & Backup: Leverage AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (EDR), AWS Backup, S3 Multi-Region Access Points (MRAP), and RDS/Redshift cross-region replication.
• Cross-Region Operations: Lead upcoming DR testing initiatives to ensure infrastructure and applications seamlessly restore in us-east-1 within established RTOs.

• Access Control: Manage IAM, AWS Identity Center, Control Tower, and AWS Landing Zone environments.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaaC): Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Pipeline Management: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab (or similar Git tools) and configure GitLab R unners.

• Repository Governance: Administer Git branching strategies, including permissions, code promotion, and pull request reviews.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
