Job Summary

After you have applied to this opening, your application will be reviewed by Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education staff and you will be emailed regarding your status.

Qualifications
  • Valid teacher certification for the Province of Nova Scotia (must be attached to your application).
  • Up to date Criminal Record Check (including vulnerable sector) and Child Abuse Registry Check will be required.
  • Methodology courses, experience, or practicum teaching in the subject area(s) at the appropriate level for the competition.
  • Excellent classroom and student management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of technologies used to enhance instruction and learning.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in implementing inclusive teaching and assessment strategies.
