Hours of work: as needed basis

Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Employment for Non-Union Employees (AVRCE).

Reporting to the school Principal:

Qualifications and Abilities
  • Must be able to work independently and accurately while on a flexible schedule.
  • Proven secretarial skills with strong communication, collaborative, and organizational abilities.
  • Completion of recognized degree or diploma program in office administration is required.
Requirements
  • A demonstrated caring for and interest in working with students.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the public.
  • The ability to use current office procedures and computer software, telephone answering skills, and the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
  • Effective written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and a pleasant manner.
